Bamboo waiter’s corkscrew by Oenophilia
I’m kind of a corkscrew snob. I hate those corkscrews with the two metal arms that you push down to release the cork. Amateur hour. And I especially hate those corkscrews that have complicated directions, cost a gazillion dollars and don’t open any bottles of wine better than a simple waiter’s corkscrew.
There’s a reason waiters use these corkscrews. Simple, elegant and effective. I especially like the one from Oenophilia because it features a bamboo handle which is from an easily replenished, strong wood. Plus it just looks like you mean business.
Check it out on their website. It’s only $7.50. And, no, I don’t work for this company. I just like what they do.
also my favorite as it takes very little space in my cabinet and can do other things besides open a bottle of wine (like open a bottle of beer).
