Valentine’s Day is tomorrow. I just know King Daddy has bought me a big ol’ box of chocolates and a dozen red roses. Kidding! KD would want to do both of those things, but I kind of cruelly broke him of the habit of bestowing love gifts on me more than a few years ago.

I am not a chocolate lover. A big bowl of mac and cheese is more appealing. And we have always had cats that love to nibble on any living plant material so the roses always had to go on the highest cat-proof shelf in the house.

But I don’t need any of those things because King Daddy proves his love to me every day. Most recently, he spent his day off installing a new ceiling in one of the bathrooms that had been the victim of a leaky toilet directly above it. That’s what I call true love.

I will, however, feed him a romantic meal tomorrow. It just might be this grilled t-bone steak with crab and Hollandaise I created for Char-Broil. It’s truly easy – three-minute blender Hollandaise, crab legs from the seafood section of the store and t-bones on the grill. Boom!
